Astrum Computing, LLC ("Astrum," "we," "us") provides Phone Doctor: Storage Cleaner. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@astrumcomputing.com.
With your permission, Phone Doctor reads your Photos library to find cleanup candidates, preview files, and perform edits you approve. Photo and video analysis, duplicate detection, and compression run on your device. When an original is stored in iCloud Photos, Apple Photos may download it to your device for an operation you request. Astrum does not receive your photo or video files for these features. Deleting media through the app moves it according to Apple Photos behavior, including Recently Deleted where applicable. Copies you share or save elsewhere are controlled by the destination you choose.
With your permission, Phone Doctor reads contacts to find duplicates and incomplete entries and to perform the changes you approve. Contact backups include contact details such as names, phone numbers, and email addresses. Backups are stored in the app's local database and may sync through the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. Removing a local backup or disabling iCloud does not necessarily remove copies already stored in iCloud, on another device, or in Apple backups. The app may also read calendar events for the calendar tools you choose to use.
Preferences, cleanup progress, and app data are stored on your device. Apple may include local app data in device backups according to your settings.
Apple handles App Store payment processing. RevenueCat processes an app-user identifier, product and purchase information, and subscription status to deliver and restore paid access. Astrum does not receive full payment-card details from Apple or RevenueCat.
Phone Doctor uses Firebase Analytics for app-use and paywall events, Firebase Crashlytics for error and crash diagnostics, Firebase Remote Config for product settings, and Firebase App Check for service integrity. These services may process app-instance or app-user identifiers, device and operating-system information, event timing, feature-use information, and technical diagnostics. The app links an anonymous RevenueCat app-user identifier with Firebase Analytics to understand subscription outcomes. Do not include sensitive photo, contact, or calendar content in a support report unless you choose to send it.
When you contact support or use the optional deletion-feedback action, your email app prepares a message. Astrum receives the address, message, and any diagnostic details you choose to send only after you review and send it.
Apple provides Photos, Contacts, Calendar, iCloud, and App Store services. Google provides Firebase services. RevenueCat manages purchase entitlements. Each provider may process technical information under its own privacy terms and may store it in countries where it operates.
Your on-device app data remains until you remove it or uninstall the app, subject to device backups. Media in Recently Deleted, private iCloud copies, contact backups, and shared copies may require separate deletion. Purchase records and service diagnostics follow the applicable provider's retention rules and legal obligations. Astrum retains support messages only as long as needed to answer requests, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
You can control Photos, Contacts, Calendar, and notification permissions in iOS Settings. You can delete media or backups in the app, manage iCloud data through your Apple Account, and manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account. Contact support@astrumcomputing.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information controlled by Astrum. We may need reasonable information to locate and verify a request; provider-managed records may require a request to that provider.
The app uses Apple platform protections for local and private iCloud data. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We may update this policy as the app or its services change and will revise the effective date when we do.
